I was staying with my dad's friend Eric outside of London. Eric is this dentist/rock star who had a single in the late 80's that reached #2 on the british pop charts. He is also bonkers. My dad and I went on a bike ride one day and on the way home we passed this dead deer on the side of the road, and told Eric about it on the way home. He, being bonkers, decided that we should go find the deer and salvage the good meat. So we head out with floodlights lookin around the area we think it was at, and eventually find it still warm. We stuck it in the car took it home where Eric butchered it while his girlfriend used pruning shears to crack the bones. They cooked it in a stew after we left and I hear it was delicious.
